On the road

Hi everyone.  I’m on the road in Europe right now.  I’ve been playing concerts with Don and Dave Grusin out here in Germany and then I’m heading to Denmark, Holland, and Italy for shows with my own band.  I wanted to give you an update on how the project is going.  I’ve been doing a lot of listening to some blues looking for the right tune to work on with BB King.  And I’m also working on arrangement/song ideas with Andy Mckee for an acoustic piece.  There’s a lot of work to be done, but I’m exciting to get in the studio and make some music!  Keep spreading the word about the contest!  And thanks for all the great comments.  I’m enjoying reading them on the tour bus and it helps keep the creative juices flowing.  Hope to see you as some of the shows!  Check www.leeritenour.com/tour-dates for details.

Best Wishes,

Lee Ritenour

Superstar Guitarist “Wish List”

Hi everyone, the competition is now underway.  We’ve already had some signups, keep them coming!  There are a lot of great prizes up for grabs. Click here to signup.

Also, we’d like to hear about who you would like to see on the “String Theory” album.  Who’s your favorite guitarist?  Or what two guitar players would you like to see collaborate on the album?  Maybe you’ve got a killer suggestion for a blues player and a a jazzer to work together on, or a great country picker to collaborate with a rock player.  We’d love to hear what you think.  Reply to this post with some names and let’s and get the “wish list” going :)

Best Wishes,

Lee Ritenour
